It’s never too early or too late to start healthy living and getting fit. Our members range from complete beginners who haven’t exercised in years and may be seriously overweight, through to fit individuals who wish to maintain their fitness levels, there are slightly different ways to perform each exercise depending on fitness level which is demonstrated at the start of each exercise. So you are not expected to compete with the person beside you, you will only work at the level that suits you.

So why do it? Well for many people the goal is fat loss or at least maintaining their body fat percentage. Irish people are now the second most obese in Europe, an unpleasant statistic, 1 in 4 adults are obese, whilst 2 out of 3 Irish women and 1 out of 2 Irish men are overweight, Ireland is facing an obesity time bomb in terms of the repercussions. This is mainly due to sedentary lifestyles, computer based jobs, television, video games, boozing, fast food, and too much sugar and fat in our diet.
These sedentary lifestyles can lead to an array of hypokinetic diseases which can range from cardiovascular disease, some forms of cancer, back problems, obesity, Type 2 Diabetes, Osteoporosis and mental health problems. However by engaging in regular exercise like a bootcamp you can minimise those risks, and have lots of craic at the same time, with like-minded people.
Remember, the hardest part of any exercise programme is getting your backside off the sofa.
